How does an infrared desk panel work?
A desk panel radiates infrared heat downwards or to the side, depending on its placement. The heat feels like gentle sunlight and is immediately absorbed by your body and the surrounding environment. Unlike fan heaters or convection heaters, infrared provides silent, dust-free heat. Many users notice a reduction in dry air and cold feet during long workdays.

Power, safety and use
Most infrared desk panels have a power output between 150 and 400 watts. This is more than sufficient for targeted heating under a standard workstation. Thanks to their low surface temperature, they are safe to touch and suitable for long-term use. Many models feature anti-tip protection or an automatic shut-off function if they overheat.
If you want to heat multiple workstations, you can switch the panels individually or control them via one central smart thermostat . This way, you maintain control over consumption and temperature in different zones.
