1. Choose the right place

The ideal location depends on the type of panel. A ceiling panel distributes heat evenly from above, while a wall panel is perfect for targeted heating. Ideally, place the panel opposite the area where you want to feel the heat, such as the living room, sink, or workspace. Make sure there are no obstacles (cabinets, curtains) in front of it that could block the radiant heat.

2. Materials and preparation

Each Warmteshop infrared panel comes with mounting hardware and clear instructions. All you need is a drill, a spirit level, a pencil, and a screwdriver. Before mounting, check that the surface is flat and firm, and that there's an electrical outlet nearby. The panels are lightweight and can be installed on virtually any wall.

3. Mounting on wall or ceiling

Step 1: Mark the drill holes using the provided template.
Step 2: Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs.
Step 3: Screw in the mounting brackets and hook the panel into place.
Step 4: Check the panel's level with a spirit level.
Step 5: Connect the panel to the mains or to a smart thermostat for automatic control.

4. Safety and electrical connection

Infrared panels are CE-certified and equipped with thermal protection. However, we always recommend choosing a splash-proof model with IP protection for damp areas, such as bathrooms . It's best to have electrical connections made by a certified installer if you intend to integrate the panel into a permanent circuit or home automation system.
